What is e-invoicing?

E-invoicing is an automated direct exchange of invoices between a supplier’s and a client’s accounting software systems, removing the need for manual invoice creation, and paper and PDF invoices.

It is NOT emailing PDFs or a link to a web-based invoice. Buyers will no longer need to manually enter or scan invoices into their accounting system.

E-invoicing can help you save time by not having to:
  1. re-key or scan invoices
  2. make corrections
  3. chase missing information.
In addition, the Australian Government is supporting small business by offering improved payments times - more information.
